Getting Started Guide

This guide is intended to help new members get started in the species and get accustomed to using the website. If you have any questions about either the species or the site, or feel that something should be changed or added, please feel free to reach out to a moderater and we will do our best to comply!

Getting to know the species

A great way to get to know the species is to take a look at the "WORLD" tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page. In this tab, you will find links to About Revestries (coming soon),  Kingdoms, Rulers, NPCs, Encyclopedia (a collection of all traits), and Shops. Each of these tabs has helpful information to get you well aquainted with our fuzzy friends!

How to obtain your FTO MYO slot

Every new member get one free common MYO slot just for joining the species! In order to obtain this MYO slot, head on over to the Potion Shop and select the FTO MYO Slot item! This will place a ticket into your inventory for you to make your very own Revestry!

How to use your myo SLot

In order to use your MYO slot, you must turn the item into an editable masterlist entry. To do so, go onto your profile and click on inventory. In your inventory you will soo the MYO ticket item. Click on the ticket and then click on the use button. This will turn the item into a slot! Now, go back to your profile and click MYO Slots in your side bar on the left of the page (if you are on mobile this may appear as a dropdown menu that will need to click on.) From there, click on your MYO slot, and it will take you to the editable entry. In the lefthand bar, click submit design. Follow the prompts on the page it takes you to and thats it! Your MYO will be sent to the moderator team for approval. If anything needs to be fixed, the mods will send it back for you to edit, if its good to go your new friend will be on the masterlist and ready to play!

I've made my revestry, now what?

Now that you have your very own Revestry, there are a lot of things you can do! A good place to start would be to take a look at the art and writing prompts found in the "ACTIVITIES" tab in the top navigation bar. In the prompts, there are some fun ways to flesh out the story of your new Revestry and to help you get a better feel from them. Aside from the prompts, all art gives you a special currency known as Dust Bunnies (DB for short) that you can use to buy on site items and even more MYO slots! The art does not need to include a Revestry you own, but you do need permission to draw the Revestries of others. Most prompts will also give bonus DB and/or items upon completion. We would also highly reccomend joining our Discord Server if you havent already, as we will be holding frequent events, and it is also a good way to chat with the community!

I made art of a revestry, what should I do with it?

A good place to start after you finish an art piece of your Revestry would be to upload it to the onsite gallery! While this isn't mandatory, it is helpful as it will give you an easy link to submit it for DB. It can also be linked to the Revestry the art is for, giving that Revestry a personal gallery as well. For some future events, it may also be mandatory for the art to be in a specific event gallery for it to recieve any awards, but this rule does not apply unless specifically stated. Also, its nice to look in the gallery and see all the wonderful fluffy friends and wonderful art!

Once you've submitted your art to your gallery of choice, you can then submit it for DB! To do this, simply head on over to the prompt directory mentioned earlier, click on the prompt the art is for (there is a prompt for general art), and hit submit prompt. After that, just fill out the form that pops up (make sure to put the link to the art in the URL spot! One art piece per submission please) and hit submit.  A mod will then review it and grant you the rewards you earned directly onto your profile!

You should now be off to a pretty good start in the species, but don't be afraid to reach out to a mod if you would like further help!
